**Downeast Wood Carving & Wildlife Art Show 2005**

Featured Carver GENE BAHR is our Featured Carver this year. He is an award winning taxidermist and wildlife artist and carver; his specialty being fish. Gene is a "Catch and Release" advocate and can replicate a trophy catch for any angler. He received his love of the outdoors and art from his grandfather who was also an outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. He caught his first fish at the age of six. Featured Artist CONSUELO HANKS, our Featured Artist, is an internationally recognized artist. Born in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, She attended schools in England, France, and the United States. She received a Baccalaureate Degree from Lycee Francais de New York, and a B.A. Magna cum laude from Wheaton College, Norton, MA. She has traveled extensively throughout Europe, the U.S. and the Orient. Intricate drawing and painting came naturally for her through the teachings of her father John Eames, an etcher.
